Molalla Buckeroo Grounds (“Grounds”)
General Questions
Are pets allowed inside?
Animals are not permitted within the Molalla Buckeroo Grounds with the
exception of certified service dogs for the disabled, being used by a disabled
person.
How early can I show up for the rodeo and entertainment?
Gates open three hours prior to the event start time.
How old does my child have to be before I have to buy a ticket for him
or her?
For reserved seating all persons over 2 years of age will be charged full
admission. For General Admission all children under 6 get in free. For comfort and visibility during night shows, we
recommend seating for children, rather than SRO (standing room only).
Can I bring my camera to the rodeo or other Molalla Buckeroo events?
Still photograph cameras are allowed on the Grounds. Per PRCA regulations no
video cameras are allowed for the rodeos.
Can I bring a cooler in?
No outside food and beverages are allowed to be brought in. Both food and beverages are available
inside for purchase.
Can I bring a stroller onto the Grounds?
Yes, strollers are allowed on the Grounds; however they can be very difficult to
take into the grandstands.
What are our ticket policies?
All sales are final. There are no refunds, only exchanges. Tickets cannot be
replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed. Tickets can be damaged by exposure to
heat or sunlight. All persons over 2 years of age will be charge full admission
for a Reserved Seat. The resale of tickets for more than the printed price on
the ticket is prohibited. Per PRCA regulations, no recording devices are allowed
for the rodeos. All dates, times and entertainers are subject to change. Such
changes do not constitute reason for refund or exchange. This is an outdoor
arena and performances will take place rain or shine. Standing is not permitted in seating areas.
Seating access is only to location as stated on ticket. Smoking is permitted in
designated areas only. For problems with ticketing please call (503) 829-8388.
Where do I park?
Parking is available, as space permits, on Bohlander field for $5 and additional
parking can be found at Molalla High School off of Frances Street for $5; no
re-entry to any parking locations without full payment. Handicapped accessible
parking is available. Overnight camping permitted for $20. MBA assumes no
responsibility for damage to vehicles from fire, collision, or theft.
What security procedures should I be aware of?
Security procedures are subject to change at any time. Each person may only
bring in one bag, purse or fanny pack, no larger than 14" x 14" x 14". All items
are subject to search. Hard-sided coolers are prohibited. No bottles, food,
beverages, weapons or laser lights. Animals are not permitted within the fenced
area of the Grounds with the exception of certified service dogs for the
disabled. Cameras are allowed on the Grounds. Per PRCA regulations, no recording
devices are allowed for the rodeos.
Some areas may require you to be 21 years of age and have valid ID.
INFORMATION
There are many events throughout the rodeo including live music, dance,
carnival, a golf tournament, parades, a pancake breakfast and more. The
evening rodeos are capped off by a fireworks display each night.
Dance Tent
Admission is free into the Dance Tent where you can dance the night away to live
music. Must be 21 or older to enter.
Full bar.
Concessions
A wide variety of palate-pleasing drinks and food items are available throught
the Buckeroo Grounds.
Fireworks
In celebration of our Nation’s Birthday, a fireworks display follows each
evening rodeo performance. Fireworks are set off on the northeast corner of the
rodeo Grounds and can be seen from just about anywhere on the Grounds.
ATM Machines
Located at the entrance C-D of the Grandstands.
Restrooms
Located at the main entrance near the Grandstands, in the VIP on the east side,
near the bucking chutes, and at the west end of the arena.
Lost & Found
Located at the Information Booth on the west end of the Grounds near Section
A.
Telephones
No pay telephones are available on the Grounds.
First Aid Station
The Molalla Buckeroo First Aid Station is located on the west end of the Grounds
near Section A.
Lost Children
If you or your child becomes lost, please check in with Security or our
Information Booth on the west end of the Grounds near Section A.
Special Needs
Individuals requiring assistance with seating are requested to contact the
Ticket Office in advance at (503) 829-8388. A designated parking area is set
aside in Bohlander field near the Ticket Office. Volunteers are ready to assist
with seating.
Smoke-Free Seating
All Grandstands seating areas are smoke free. Smoking is permitted on the
asphalt or graveled areas on the Grounds.
Carnival
Located at Clark Park, adjacent to the rodeo Grounds. Numerous rides and food vendors offer a variety of options.
Pancake Breakfast
Served from 10pm July 3rd- 10am July 4th at the City Park in Molalla.
Chicken Barbecue
St. James Catholic Church sponsors a barbecued chicken dinner available for
purchase at the parish hall on Frances Street near the Buckeroo Grounds.
Giant Street Parade
Parade start at 9:30 am on Saturday July 4th 2009.
