Molalla Buckeroo Grounds (“Grounds”)
Most Common Things we are
asked
Tickets can
be bought online or mobile & that they can be printed or
scanned from your phone.
Tickets purchased at the
gate/ticket office after 6/28 will be
"Best Available" computer generated seating only. Picking
specific seats in reserved sections will not be available.
GA tickets are
only for seating in bleachers non-covered & without seat
backs. GA bleachers are located at each end of the arena &
over the bucking chutes & are first come first serve
seating. Anything with a # or covered is a Reserved
Seating Area only.
VIP tickets cannot be
purchased. This is a Sponsor Only area.
Sponsor packages start at $1500 and anyone interested can
contact andersonsponsorship@gmail.com
Multi day tickets are not
available. Each performance needs a
separate ticket for that specific performance
Can I purchase reserved
seating tickets for the 7/4 Matinee? -NO.
That one performance is all GA and anyone with a ticket
can sit wherever they want, even the covered Grandstands
Can I arrange for a special
Birthday message or proposal to happen during the Rodeo? -NO!
This is not an option. Not for any amount of money, not
for any extra special reason, Not possible, that's all,
that's it, don't ask
How do I enter the Donkey
Race?
Entry Form available under
INFO-Forms from homepage. Completed forms and fee can be
mailed to MBA PO Box 601 Molalla, OR 97038 anytime before
6/25. After that please drop off your completed form and
fee at the Ticket Office. Entry includes 2 GA tickets for
the Performance you will be competing in. If you mail in
your entry form tickets will be mailed back to you. Day of
entry is not guaranteed.
Racers need to meet at the
Tent located on the Eastern side of the Arena (opposite
side as the Announcer Booth) promptly when announced. Late
racers forfeit their spot & fee. The race is very time
specific & donkeys wait for no one!
Alcohol Purchase:
Valid, non-expired, unaltered Government issued picture
identification is required
Alcohol Monitor will check
ID & place a bracelet on verified, legal individuals
Must have alcohol bracelet to purchase or consume alcohol,
no exceptions
Drinks can only be purchased with Tokens
purchased at Token Booths located around the grounds, and
near every Serving Station
Tokens are $2 each and CASH
ONLY
Drinks are 3 & 4 tokens
Tokens can be used at
any performance of the Molalla Buckeroo, but are
NONREFUNDABLE. Even if you get cut off and still have
tokens in your pocket!
Tokens can also be used to
purchase Soda & Water at serving stations (1 token)
General Questions
Are pets allowed inside?
Animals are not permitted within the Molalla Buckeroo
Grounds with the exception of certified service dogs for
the disabled, being used by a disabled person.
How early can I show up for
the rodeo and entertainment?
Gates
open at 5:00 PM 7/1-7/3, 11:30 AM for the 7/4 matinee & at
5:30 PM for the 7/4 Eve
How old does my child have
to be before I have to buy a ticket for him or her?
For reserved seating all persons over 3 years of age will
be charged full admission (Children 3 and under are free
as long as they sit on a lap). For General Admission all
children under 6 get in free. For comfort and visibility
during night shows, we recommend seating for children,
rather than SRO (standing room only).
Can I bring my camera to the
rodeo or other Molalla Buckeroo events?
Personal
fixed lens cameras are allowed. Cameras with removable
lenses, recording devices or digital video are prohibited. Commercial
photography is prohibited unless it has received prior
approval and the proper clearances have been made.
The PRCA retains all rights to
the filming, taping, recording in any media now or
hereafter known, still footage/ photography, radio or
television broadcasting or reproduction in any manner or
form thereof of any PRCA-sanctioned event.
All pictures must be taken at
an appreciable distance, as far from the action as
possible, and from angles that are not in the direct line
of sight for the contestant or the judges.
Any secondary non-editorial or
commercial use of any picture, film or drawing of a
competitor is prohibited without prior consent of the PRCA
and the contestant.

Can I bring a cooler in?
No outside food and beverages are allowed to be brought
in. Both food and beverages are available inside for
purchase. Sealed water bottles, 1 per person, are allowed
Can I bring in formula or
baby food onto the Grounds?
Yes, baby
food and formula (premixed or sealed) are allowed on the
grounds. Water can be purchased once inside.
Can I bring a stroller onto
the Grounds?
Yes, strollers are
allowed on the Grounds, it is mostly all gravel; however
strollers are not permitted in the Grandstands seating
area.
What are our ticket
policies?
All sales are final. There
are no refunds, only exchanges. (exchanges might be
allowed on a case by case basis & on before 7/1. Tickets
cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed. Tickets
can be damaged by exposure to heat or sunlight. All
persons over 3 years of age will be charged full admission
for a Reserved Seat. The resale of tickets for more than
the printed price on the ticket is prohibited. Per PRCA
regulations, no recording devices are allowed for the
rodeos. All dates, times and entertainers are subject to
change. Such changes do not constitute reason for refund
or exchange. This is an outdoor arena and performances
will take place rain or shine. Standing is not permitted
in seating areas. Seating access is only to location as
stated on ticket. Smoking is permitted in designated areas
only. We are a marijuana free establishment. For problems
with ticketing please call (503) 829-8388. General
Admission ticket holders are not permitted in Reserved
Grandstands seating areas.
Where do I park?
Parking is available in the lot across the street from the
Buckeroo entrance (Bohlander field) & it's free for
Buckeroo Performances. Handicap Parking (with valid
permit) - Will be parked in the closest areas with easiest
access to entrance possible. Please reserve Handicap
parking on Asphalt pad for wheelchairs. No overnight
camping Parking along side streets & in neighborhoods is
discouraged and at risk for ticketing or towing. MBA has
no control over this, please respect our neighbors.
What security procedures
should I be aware of?
Security
procedures are subject to change at any time. Each person
may only bring in one bag, purse or fanny pack, no larger
than 14" x 14" x 14". All items are subject to search.
Hard-sided coolers are prohibited. No bottles, food,
beverages, weapons or laser lights. Animals are not
permitted within the fenced area of the Grounds with the
exception of certified service dogs for the disabled.
Personal Cameras are allowed on the Grounds. Per PRCA
regulations, no recording devices are allowed for the
rodeos. Some areas may require you to be 21 years of age
and have valid ID. Please leave any firearms, knives,
tasers, pepper spray at home. They are not allowed to be
taken into the Buckeroo Grounds & will be confiscated. MBA
& Security will not store or save these items for you
INFORMATION
There are many events throughout the rodeo including
live music, dance, carnival, a golf tournament, parades, a
pancake breakfast and more. The evening rodeos are capped
off by fireworks display each night.
Dance Tent
Admission is free into the Dance Tent where you can dance
the night away to live music. Must be 21 or older to
enter. Full bar.
Concessions
A wide variety of palate-pleasing drinks and food items
are available throughout the Buckeroo Grounds.
Fireworks
In celebration of our Nation’s Birthday, a fireworks
display follows each evening rodeo performance. Fireworks
are set off on the northeast corner of the rodeo Grounds
and can be seen from just about anywhere on the Grounds.
ATM Machines
Located at the entrance C-D of the Grandstands.
Restrooms
Port-a-potties located in the upper Southeastern most
corner of the grounds, near the Dance Tent, as well as in
the lower area of the grounds near the back of the Bucking
Chutes.
Lost & Found
Located at the Information Booth on the west end of the
Grounds near Section A.
Telephones
No pay telephones are available on the Grounds.
First Aid Station
Provided by Molalla Fire & located next to Info booth on
the West side of the grounds near Grandstands section A
Lost Children
If you or your child becomes lost, please check in with
Security or our Information Booth on the west end of the
Grounds near Section A.
Special Needs
Individuals requiring assistance with seating are
requested to contact the Ticket Office in advance at (503)
829-8388. A designated parking area is set aside in
Bohlander field near the Ticket Office. Volunteers are
ready to assist with seating.
Smoke-Free Seating
Smoke-free seating- Smoking permitted in outlying gravel
areas, we ask people smoke as far away from crowded areas
& walkways as possible. Smoking is prohibited in all
seating areas.
Pancake Breakfast
Served from 10pm July 3rd- 10am July 4that
the City Park in Molalla. It is put on by the VFW & the
city park is next to the Fire Station.
Chicken Barbecue
St. James Catholic Church sponsors a barbecued chicken
dinner available for purchase at the parish hall on
Frances Street near the Buckeroo Grounds.
